Bible riddle: Why did God create man before woman?
All year round we at Grace support several helping organizations including New Hope Society and Shepherd's Corner. New Hope Society provides a drop-in center, food and warm clothing to female sex trade workers and Shepherd’s Corner provides warm clothing and food for inadequately housed people. New Hope clients always need warm clothing, especially footwear and women’s small underwear as well as healthy hand snacks. Shepherd’s Corner distribute snacks, clothing, especially winter coats, warm socks and boots, and warm gloves. Donations in kind can be put in the baskets at the rear of the church and cash donations can be made through your regular offering.
We encourage people to sign up to set up coffee and goodies following the 10:00 a.m. service on Sundays. Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board at the back of the church.
We would appreciate if people would volunteer to provide flowers for the Altar on Sundays. Small plants work great and last a few weeks. Please let Chris (250 562-5611) in the office or Sharon Armistead (250 964-1251) know if you would like to provide anything.
The Julian Meetings with Rev. Alexis Saunders are held on the 4th Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael and All Angels. Next session January 24, 2026.
