  • Grace Wednesday Lectionary Bible Study and Thursday Book Study are on hiatus until the fall.  Suggestions for a renewed format for Wednesday Bible Study are welcome.  Contact Rev. George or Ken Ponsford with any suggestions you might have.
  • Forward Day by Day May, June, & July are in the office - $2.00
  • As Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church now worship at Grace Church, we’re excited to let you know about their events, including

    - Food Bank: Tuesdays, 10AM - Noon. Our Saviour’s Food Bank would welcome help from anyone from Grace who has time to offer on Tuesdays.

  • Please advise the office coordinator Bonnie, or fill out a prayer request form if you would like to keep a person and or family on the list for an extended period of time.
  • Bible riddle:  Who in the Bible had no parents?
  • All year round we at Grace support several helping organizations including New Hope Society and Shepherd's Corner. New Hope Society provides a drop-in center, food and warm clothing to female sex trade workers and Shepherd’s Corner provides warm clothing and food for inadequately housed people. New Hope clients always need warm clothing, especially footwear and women’s small underwear as well as healthy hand snacks.  Shepherd’s Corner distribute snacks, clothing, especially winter coats, warm socks and boots, and warm gloves. Donations in kind can be put in the baskets at the rear of the church and cash donations can be made through your regular offering.
  • We encourage people to sign up to set up coffee and goodies following the 10:00 a.m. service on Sundays.  Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board at the back of the church.
  • We would appreciate if people would volunteer to provide flowers for the Altar on Sundays.  Small plants work great and last a few weeks.  Please let Chris (250 562-5611) in the office or Sharon Armistead (250 964-1251) know if you would like to provide anything.
  • The Julian Meetings with Rev. Alexis Saunders are held on the 4th Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael and All Angels.

Sunday, June 14, 10:00 a.m. - Parish Picnic and worship with Our Saviour’s Lutheran and St. Michael and All Angels at Wilkins Park. Please join us for shortened Eucharist service at 10:00 a.m. with picnic and games to follow. Please bring along whatever you would like to barbeque, and desserts, fruits, and vegetables to share will be greatly appreciated. (Directions available in Church Office)

Sunday, June 28, 2:00 p.m. – Explore with Lauren Aldred – Land based healing – making ‘devil’s club’ (Hoolhgululh) salve. Grace Anglican church basement.  All are welcome and this is free to attend.
